Tech Jobs Continue to Grow in Champaign County: Intel to Hire 9 Positions

CHAMPAIGN, IL, June 19, 2013 – Champaign County’s reputation as a technology hub is clearly growing, as evidenced by the increasing number of technology openings at local tech companies like Intel and Yahoo. In fact, Intel is seeking to hire nine technology positions at their local office.

Intel’s open positions are in parallel systems, technical computing, and analyzers and runtimes software. The job positions require highly skilled qualifications such as General Linux knowledge, C or C++ programming skills, and Perl or Python scripting experience. The openings include Cluster Systems Engineer, HPC Messaging and Communications Architect, Parallel Runtimes S/W Engineers, and other system software related positions.
